Guild celebrates Expo and Holy Cross Day to strengthen ties between builders and entrepreneurs

After the governor of the state, Francisco Domínguez Servién, gave the order last month to start public works tenders for the state, the president of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC) in Querétaro, Álvaro Ugalde Ríos, announced that at the moment 30 percent of an amount of 1,500 million pesos is tendered.
Ugalde Ríos recognized the governor’s effort for the activation he made in public works this year and reached an investment of 2 billion pesos. This situation reactivates local construction companies that were working at 20 or 30 percent of their capacity due to the slowness with which the resources of the Federal Government currently flow for the execution of work after the beginning of the six-year term.

He announced that the municipalities already tendered public works are El Marqués, Corregidora, and Querétaro, the latter with the most significant investment in this area.

He stressed that for the 2019 edition, a series of conferences began in the morning and will continue throughout the day “with content of value for the new generations and also for builders interested in their human development,” he said.
He also thanked the presence of university students and members of the CMIC, and business people for celebrating this important date for builders. This event is held on the esplanade of the Juriquilla Province Bullring.
We are convinced that events like today strengthen our guild; we recognize that traditions are cement for our society, and living them contributes to weaving ties of collaboration, fellowship, and work.
“The objective of bringing together the construction union is the link between the medium itself and the suppliers, more than 42 companies that offer their products participate and a commercial link is made between the chamber partners themselves,” he added.
During the start of activities, a collaboration agreement was signed between CMIC and the Technological Institute of Querétaro (ITQ) to strengthen ties with Young Chamber Entrepreneurs.
